Overview
Mightly sells a category most shoppers don’t yet order online: microgreens, young plants harvested a few days after sprouting, when they have up to 40× more nutrients than mature vegetables. The site carries three lines: MOĆNO pesto (sunflower with honey and sesame, protein-rich pea, spicy radish), SELECT fresh 80 g mixes (pea, radish, sunflower, Trio Harmony) and dried seasonings dehydrated at low temperature. Prices are in dinars: pesto RSD 600, SELECT RSD 520, a set of three sauces RSD 1,600.
The key deliverable isn’t a theme, it’s a custom CMS. The team publishes products, badges (Bestseller, High Protein, New, Spicy), FAQ and prices on its own, while the storefront keeps education (“What are microgreens?”) and the cart in the same scroll. No WordPress, no Shopify: backend, admin and shop are one system. Live at mightly.rs, contact hello@mightly.rs.
Constraint
Most visitors don’t know what microgreens are, how to eat them or why 80 grams of SELECT pea costs as much as a premium grocery item. The site has to teach and sell in the same scroll: 40× the nutrients, 0% pesticides, ideas for salads, pasta and smoothies, then one tap to the cart. SELECT stays crisp 7–10 days in the fridge; opened pesto up to 5 days. This isn’t a shoe catalog.
A store template breaks on fresh goods: shelf life in days, free delivery in Novi Sad, per-SKU badges and content the founders change after each harvest. That’s why the core of the project is a custom CMS (products, prices, stock and FAQ without a developer) with a backend that runs the cart and orders.
People had to understand microgreens in a few seconds and order in two taps. We needed our own platform, not a template that fights the way fresh food actually sells.
Approach
We ran the project end to end, from concept to code. Instead of pasting a design onto a ready-made platform, we shaped the creative idea, product architecture and engineering together, so the brand story and the shopping experience reinforce each other.
- Brand concept and creative direction: microgreens as an everyday superfood, not a niche
- Identity and packaging language across the MOĆNO pesto, SELECT and dried seasoning lines
- UI/UX design: an education-first home page, product pages, FAQ and checkout flows
- Custom backend: products, prices, orders, stock and subscription logic
- Custom CMS: the founders publish products, content and prices without a developer
- E-commerce: cart, checkout, free local delivery and recurring weekly subscriptions
One system, three product lines
Mightly sells across three ranges: MOĆNO pesto (sunflower “Sunny Delight”, high-protein pea, spicy radish), SELECT fresh microgreens (pea, sunflower, radish and Trio Harmony) and dried seasonings from the same raw produce. One visual system keeps every line recognizable on the shelf and in the shop, without the pesto and the fresh mix looking like two different companies.
Components cover cards, nutrition highlights, badges and trust signals (0% pesticides, chemical-free greenhouse, free delivery in Novi Sad), so a new flavor goes in from the CMS without breaking the layout at mightly.rs.
Custom CMS · Live
mightly.rs - its own CMS, not a template
No page builder and no off-the-shelf store. The custom CMS is the core: products, prices, badges and content. Alongside it sit the backend and storefront (cart, checkout and orders), tuned for fresh goods. Live at mightly.rs.
What we built
The platform had to convert the curious visitor and keep the weekly subscriber, while staying easy for a small team to run. We built the storefront, admin CMS and backend services as one system, where content and commerce live side by side.
- An education-first home page: “What are microgreens?”, proof of 40× nutritional value and benefit blocks
- Product catalog with filters (Pesto, SELECT, dried seasonings) and rich product pages
- Custom cart and checkout with bundles (e.g. the 3-Pesto set) and free delivery in Novi Sad
- Weekly subscription model for recurring microgreens delivery
- Custom CMS: products, prices, stock, badges, FAQ and content the team runs on its own
- Newsletter, FAQ accordion and reviews to build trust in a new category
Results
Mightly went live with a story shoppers get in a few seconds (40× the nutrients, zero pesticides, seven products) and with a CMS the founders actually use. A new pesto or SELECT mix goes in from the admin, not through a ticket. FAQ, reviews and the newsletter sit next to the cart, so curiosity turns into an order without a message to hello@mightly.rs.
No monthly theme fee and no plugins that break after a harvest. The platform is purpose-built for this catalog and can take the next seasoning line or flavor. The store is live at mightly.rs.
