1. What cookies and similar technologies are
Cookies are small text files a website can store in your browser. Local storage (localStorage), session storage, and measurement pixels / scripts play a similar role. They are used to make the site work, to remember your choices, or to understand how pages are used.
This policy applies to craftedpixel.rs. It supplements the Privacy policy and the Terms of use. Legal framework: the Serbian Personal Data Protection Act (ZZPL) and the cookie provisions of the Electronic Communications Act (Article 173 - consent is not required only for strictly necessary cookies).
2. How you choose
On your first visit we show a banner with three options: Accept all, Essential only, and Customize. We store your choice in your browser under the key craftedpixel_cookie_consent. You can change it later via the “Cookie settings” link in the footer or the cookie button in the corner.
- Strictly necessary - always on. Without them we can’t remember your consent or reliably serve the Site.
- Analytics and performance - only with your consent. Measures visits and behavior (page views, flows, technical errors).
- Marketing and social media - only with your consent. We currently have no ad pixels (Meta, Google Ads, and the like). The category exists in case we add them later; until then, turning it on does not enable any extra tracking.
Consent is voluntary, and you can withdraw it at any time. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing up to that point. If you delete cookies or localStorage, the banner will appear again.
3. Strictly necessary
- craftedpixel_cookie_consent (localStorage) - remembers whether you responded and which categories you turned on. Duration: until you clear site data or reset your choice.
- Cloudflare / hosting - technical cookies or headers for security, load balancing, and HTTPS. They are set by the infrastructure, not manually by us. Duration depends on the provider (often the session or a short period).
We self-host our fonts (Syne, Instrument Sans). Icons (Font Awesome, Lucide) are served from the Site. We don’t load Google Fonts as an external request.
4. Analytics (with consent)
If you accept analytics, we may use:
- Google Analytics 4 (ID
G-JXLMHSZ8N8) - number of visits, traffic source, device, pages viewed. Provider: Google. It may set cookies such as_gaand_ga_*. Retention: up to 24 months, depending on Google’s settings. - Ahrefs Analytics - visit measurement and SEO statistics for us as the Site owner. Provider: Ahrefs. Data goes to their servers under their policy.
- Microsoft Clarity (project
xf5itm8b4f) - click maps, session recordings, and technical UX insight. Provider: Microsoft. It may set Clarity cookies and process interactions on the page. We don’t use it to identify individual clients for sales.
These tools process your IP address (often truncated), a browser identifier, and your behavior on the Site. Some processing may take place outside Serbia (EU / US). The legal basis is consent: “Essential only” means you have not approved analytics. We store your choice in your browser, and it should be respected.
5. Marketing (reserved)
We don’t use Meta Pixel, Google Ads remarketing, or any similar ad pixel on this Site. Links to LinkedIn, Instagram, X, and GitHub take you to those services, where their own rules apply. If we introduce marketing cookies, we will update this list and ask for consent before turning them on.
6. Forms are not cookies, but they share data
Contact form submissions go through Web3Forms. Applications for a free website go through Formspree. These are not measurement cookies, but they do transfer personal data - see the Privacy policy.
7. How to control them outside the Site
- on the Site: “Cookie settings” in the footer;
- in your browser: block or delete cookies (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge). Blocking all cookies may break how your consent is remembered;
- Google Analytics opt-out: GA opt-out browser add-on;
- privacy extensions and “Do Not Track” mode - there is no single industry standard for DNT, so we don’t interpret it separately from the banner. What you choose on our site is what applies.
8. Changes
If we change tools or categories, we will update this page and the date at the top. If the change is significant, we may reset consent so the banner asks again.
